Speaking about his captaincy, Bruno Fernandes said: “Of course I enjoy it, it’s an honour to be captain of the club, sometimes I understand it’s not the best moment, but you have to try to get the best out of your team-mates. We’ve done it before, we’ve been losing before, but now we’re back. We know what we have to do, so we have to keep going and keep believing. I think when I said that in the locker room, everyone was like, ‘Well, let’s go do something about it.'”

Speaking about the Premier League comeback against Brentford, Fee said: “I was a bit tired towards the end of the game because the coach took Lindelof off at left-back, which meant the midfielders had to do more coverage. That’s when I looked back and Evans came to me and said, ‘Hang in there Bruno, we’re doing great.’ Don’t stop! You know, when you get that encouragement from your teammates, it’s like, ‘Keep going, we’re right behind you, try to win the game.’ So, it’s really important to pass those little messages between each teammate. “As a captain you have to be positive in these moments because you need to push everyone to get the best out of them.”
