[Saba Sports News] Bronny James has garnered interest from multiple teams ahead of the NBA Draft, but he plans to work out for only a few. According to Shams Charania, James has received invitations from over 10 NBA teams but will only visit a couple, including the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns.
Charania stated on “Run it Back” that James’s decision on where he prefers to be drafted will depend on the development plan and guaranteed money offered. James, 19, played one season at USC without making a significant impact.
The Lakers, who have the No. 55 overall pick, might draft Bronny to please LeBron. The Suns, holding the No. 22 pick, have general manager James Jones, a former teammate of LeBron on the Heat and Cavaliers, possibly indicating LeBron’s approval for the Suns to draft his son.
