[Saba Sports News] According to Canadian media reports, the Canadian Grand Prix might experience interruptions due to inclement weather. The Montreal observatory recently released a weather forecast indicating the approaching low-pressure front, which may bring thunderstorms and extreme weather conditions to Montreal. As a result, the qualifying session is likely to be affected. The 2024 Canadian Grand Prix is scheduled to take place at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. Named after the late Canadian driver Gilles Villeneuve, who tragically died during the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix, the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve is a permanent race track in Montreal and serves as the venue for the Canadian F1 Grand Prix. The circuit combines streets and runways, providing multiple overtaking opportunities. The demanding nature of the track requires strong engines and brakes, especially due to several sections requiring rapid deceleration. The long straight line in front of the pit entrance poses a significant test for engines.
