[Saba Sports News] Just before the F1 Canadian Grand Prix, Carlos Sainz, who will be leaving the Ferrari team this season, gave an interview to the media. He was asked about the ongoing rumors of him potentially joining the Williams team. In response, Sainz expressed his stance. Although he did not outright deny the possibility, his statement hinted that he has no intention of doing so. Sainz stated, “The only thing I can tell you now is that I have not signed any contract. I have seen reports in the media claiming that I have signed a contract, but these are false news.” This suggests that Sainz is only interested in joining teams with a chance of winning the championship, and Williams is not among them. However, with options for Sainz becoming limited, as top teams like Red Bull Racing, Mercedes-Benz Racing, and McLaren Racing are already filled, he may only have mid-range teams to consider.
