[Saba Sports News] On Tuesday night, three-time F1 world champion Max Verstappen and his girlfriend Kelly Piquet called on everyone to be cautious of fake news on Instagram. Kelly stressed that this was not just a personal message but a reminder for everyone. While the online world offers numerous benefits, it can also become a hostile environment when misinformation and lies spread unchecked. She expressed concern about the hate fueled by disinformation and noted that she has been dealing with a constant stream of accusations, rumors, fabricated situations, false testimonies, and even doctored screenshots for the past three years. Despite this, she has chosen to remain silent and ignore these absurd accusations. However, as these accusations have escalated to defamatory levels in recent months, she feels compelled to speak out and declare that she will not tolerate being placed in such a position. She hoped that those involved in spreading lies and hatred would reflect on the real-life consequences of their actions. Quoting American author James Clear, she emphasized the importance of actions reflecting our desired identity and encouraged people to vote with their actions. Verstappen swiftly echoed Kelly’s sentiments, condemning the false accusations made against them on Instagram and TikTok as crazy and ridiculous, stressing that hate has no place in the world.
