(sabasports resport) The Dallas Mavericks routed the Boston Celtics 122-84 in Game 4 on Saturday for their first win in the NBA Finals. It was the third largest margin in NBA Finals history and gave the Mavericks some confidence.

After the game, the NBA officially updated the Finals MVP standings. While the Celtics still lead the series, their players are dominating the standings. Jaylen Brown currently leads the pack, averaging 20.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game, and is primarily responsible for defending Luka Doncic. Jayson Tatum is second with similar personal stats, but Brown has been more efficient on the floor, even in Game 4.
Lone Ranger players took the third and fourth spots. Doncic, who is averaging 29.5 points, eight rebounds and 5.8 assists, is third, while Kyrie Irving, who is averaging 21 points per game, is fourth.
