(sabasports report) France got off to a good start at Euro 2024 with a 1-0 win over Austria in the first round of Group D. In the first half, Kylian Mbappe’s cross set up Max Wober’s own goal. It was the 25th meeting between France and Austria, with France winning 13 games, drawing three games and losing nine. The teams last met in the Nations League group stage in September 2022, with France winning 2-0.
