(sabasports report)Belgium’s central midfielder Kevin De Bruyne spoke to the media at a training camp about his team’s preparation for the first knockout round of the European Championship against France.

“We know France are favourites but I think we are capable of playing a good game. It is also a difficult game for them, they are under a lot of pressure, so we will try to plan, play well and try to win.”
“We did a good job in defence and even conceding the ball was our own fault. This was the only goal conceded in the three group games, which shows that we defended well as a team and didn’t concede too many goals. We also created enough chances and could have won easily, but we didn’t score many goals.”
“Didier Deschamps has been with France for a long time and has built a very strong team. They are very cautious and have enough strength up front to scare any team. It will be a very good match. France has always been a great football nation and we will try to compete with them.”
