[Saba Sports News] The Haas F1 team has announced a significant development. They have confirmed the extension of their partnership with Ferrari, which means that Haas will continue utilizing Ferrari power units and other components in their participation in F1 until 2028. This ensures that the Haas team will still receive crucial components from Ferrari. It is noteworthy that once the Sauber team becomes an Audi factory team in 2026 and adopts Audi’s power units, Haas will be the sole customer team of Ferrari. This is seen as positive since Ferrari brings extensive experience and technical prowess to the F1 domain, and the collaboration with them will provide Haas with technical support and resources. This partnership will assist Haas in remaining competitive in F1 and preparing for future growth. Since entering F1 in 2016, the Haas team has been utilizing Ferrari’s power units, gearboxes, customer cars, team parts, as well as making use of Maranello’s wind tunnels and simulators. They have participated in a total of 178 Grand Prix races thus far.
