(sabasports report)Lenny Yoro, an 18-year-old French centre-back, flew to Manchester on Wednesday. Fabrizio Romano, the Italian transfer specialist, revealed that he had passed the first part of his medical on the same day, confirming his move to United. The next day he will complete his subsequent tests and sign a five-year contract until 2029.

According to Romano, Joro’s transfer fee is a fixed sum of 50 million euros, plus a series of variable terms. David Ornstein of Sports.com puts the initial transfer fee at €62m plus a float. The Manchester Evening News said the transfer could be worth up to 70 million euros.
In all, United’s purchase of Yoro is similar to the purchase of Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount last summer window, there is a premium phenomenon. But fans saw the deal as a success because of Joro’s close association with Real Madrid. In the end, of course, it will be the use of the coach and the performance of the players that will determine the success of the transfer, and everything else will be meaningless.
United’s belief that Joro can succeed in the Premier League is based on two factors. For one thing, he rarely gets hurt. In the 2023/24 season, Joro is one of the most played players under the age of 20 in European football’s top five leagues, with 2,672 minutes ahead of Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho’s 2,573.
