[Saba Sports News] According to the latest news from Portuguese media, Chinese company Suning Group is currently in negotiations with Portuguese football team Portimonense. Suning Group intends to acquire the club and make a comeback in the Portuguese football league, showing their determination not to give up on the football market. It is reported that Suning plans to invest 80 million euros to acquire Portimonense, and this capital is expected to be used to purchase shares of the club as well as related assets, including the Autodromo sports complex, which currently serves as the U23 team training center. This investment demonstrates Suning Group’s emphasis on Portimonense and their determination to continue developing in the football field. It is worth mentioning that Suning has made various moves in the football field, including acquiring majority ownership of Inter Milan. However, in May of this year, Inter Milan lost control due to financial issues and was taken over by Oaktree Capital. Now, Suning plans to acquire Portimonense, indicating their intention to make a comeback in the football field.
