[Saba Sports News] According to Brazilian media reports, Major League Soccer (MLS) officials stepped in to resolve a transfer dispute and help Casemiro complete his move to Inter Miami CF. Reports state that Casemiro reached a verbal agreement with Inter Miami last month. However, LA Galaxy had approached the midfielder earlier than Inter Miami. Under MLS regulations, LA Galaxy held priority signing rights, which brought negotiations to a standstill. MLS authorities intervened and ironed out the issues, clearing the way for Casemiro’s transfer. Casemiro and Brazil will travel to Miami next week to take on Scotland, yet he has no plans to report to his new club as he is fully focused on the World Cup. Although Casemiro received offers from Saudi Arabia and Italy, he and his family unanimously agreed that a move to the United States represents the best choice for his life and professional career.
The editor believes that Casemiro is set to join a well-structured, highly competitive club with a far less gruelling fixture schedule than those in Europe. It is reported that after deciding to leave England, Casemiro ruled out a return to Brazil.
