[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, the Club World Cup schedule has faced dissatisfaction from multiple parties, and FIFA hopes to resolve the issue through dialogue. FIFA wants to reach a consensus on the Club World Cup issue, and therefore, a FIFA spokesperson recently stated, “FIFA has once again extended an invitation, hoping to have a meeting and discussion with the World Leagues Forum and FIFAPro regarding the schedule issue, as we have not received any response to our letter dated May 10, 2024.” Reports indicate that FIFA has not given up on hosting the Club World Cup but is attempting to reach an agreement with all relevant parties. They believe that dialogue is a more effective approach for football than resorting to legal action. The new Club World Cup confirmed by FIFA has already sparked significant divisions within the football community. Concerns have been raised about squeezing more matches into an already crowded schedule, leading to concerns about more injuries, and authorities prioritizing commercial interests over player welfare. However, this tournament, scheduled to be held in the United States from June 15 to July 13, 2025, will not be delayed, so stakeholders will have to come up with a plan to address these concerns.
