Reports state that AC Milan and Emerson’s agent Castagna had a meeting at Casa Milan two days ago, during which both parties agreed on the player’s contract and agent commission. Now, Emerson’s agent and intermediaries are working to convince Tottenham to lower their asking price closer to AC Milan’s offer. It is reported that AC Milan has offered €14 million plus €3 million in bonuses, while Tottenham wants €15 million plus €3-4 million in bonuses. The transfer structure has not yet been agreed upon, but the deal is considered almost complete. AC Milan hopes to finalize this transfer soon and have Emerson join the team after their American tour, but due to financial details that still need to be clarified, the deal is expected to be completed early next week.
