[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, the hearing on the 115 charges against Manchester City is set to begin on September 16, with a decision expected before the end of the new season. The report states that the hearing on the 115 alleged violations of the Premier League rules by Manchester City will start on September 16. The hearing is expected to last about two months, with the aim of reaching a final verdict before the end of the 2024-25 season. In February of last year, the Premier League officially announced that Manchester City had been charged with multiple violations of the league’s financial rules and the case had been referred to a committee for judgment. If the alleged violations by Manchester City are confirmed, they could face point deductions. The Times reported that Manchester City faces over 100 charges and there is a possibility of being expelled from the Premier League if the charges are proven. In June of this year, Manchester City filed a lawsuit against the Premier League regarding the 115 charges they faced, claiming they were being discriminated against. In a 165-page legal document, Manchester City claimed to be a victim of “discrimination” and described the rules approved by their competitors as a “tyranny of the majority”. There is currently no news on the outcome.
