[Saba Sports News] Former three-point champion Joe Harris is calling it a career.
The 32-year-old, who spent a decade in the NBA, is retiring. Drafted in the second round by the Cavaliers in 2014, Harris initially had a limited role but found his stride after joining the Nets in 2016.
Harris became a key player in Brooklyn, excelling as a sharpshooter. He led the league in 3-point shooting percentage twice, in the 2018-2019 (47.4%) and 2020-2021 seasons (47.5%). His shooting earned him a 4-year, $75 million contract from 2020-2023. Harris played just 16 games last season with the Pistons.
Over his career, Harris averaged 10.3 points per game and shot 43.6% from beyond the arc. He also claimed victory in the 2019 All-Star Weekend three-point contest.
