(SabaSports) Juventus have announced that substitute goalkeeper Mattia Perin will wear the number one shirt for the new season. Previously, Perrin had been wearing the No. 36 shirt of Juventus. The number was previously owned by Wojciech Szczęsny, the Polish goalkeeper who left the club in the summer after negotiating his release from the club.

Meanwhile, Juventus’ new first-choice goalkeeper, Michele Di Gregorio, who was brought in this summer, has opted for the number 29 shirt.
Last season, Perrin made eight appearances for Juventus in all competitions, including three in Serie A. Perrin took over the No. 1 jersey, which means that he will continue to be an important goalie for the team and contribute to the team’s defensive line in the new season.
