[Saba Sports News] As the F1 summer break is coming to an end, the performance of the Sauber team in the second half of the season has undoubtedly become the focus of attention, as they are currently without a single point. Recently, Sauber team driver Valtteri Bottas spoke about this issue in an interview, expressing his dissatisfaction and stating that F1 is not a fair sport. Bottas said, “Formula One is 90% car and 10% driver. To succeed in F1, you need a good car and a good team. It is definitely not a fair sport.” It is reported that Bottas may not be able to retain his position in the Sauber team next season, as Audi, which is set to acquire Sauber, is not interested in him. Both Bottas and his teammate may face unemployment and may need to temporarily leave F1 and look for opportunities in the future. Bottas has experienced two extremes in terms of car performance in his F1 career. He won 10 podium finishes while racing for Mercedes, but after moving to Sauber, the weak car made scoring points seem like a luxury.
