Sports News] According to British media reports, Manchester United have
officially stated that the Marcus Rashford incident has been addressed as an
internal disciplinary matter, and no further penalties will be imposed.
Previously, Rashford was seen at nightclubs for several days and claimed to be
ill, resulting in him missing a game upon his return to the team. Manager Erik
ten Hag had indicated that he would handle the situation. However, with
Manchester United’s announcement that the incident is closed, the only expected
penalty for Rashford may be a fine of £650,000, as previously reported by the
media. Ten Hag has had previous issues with player-coach relationships, with
Jadon Sancho being excluded from the lineup for an extended period due to his
public response to Ten Hag’s comments, and Cristiano Ronaldo also facing public
criticism and suspension from games and training. Ten Hag set a precedent last
season by removing Ronaldo from the squad against Chelsea for disciplinary
reasons. In comparison, Rashford’s disciplinary issues may have created
additional problems, but he is still able to play against Wolves.
