[Saba Sports News] On transfer deadline day, Jadon Sancho was loaned to Chelsea. According to British media reports, Sancho accepted a significant pay cut to join Chelsea, similar to Joao Felix. Reports indicate that Chelsea saw an opportunity in the final stages of the transfer window and signed Sancho on a loan-to-buy basis, with this deal having many similarities to Felix’s transfer. Both are attacking players with outstanding skills; if their careers progress smoothly and they become stars, Chelsea may not be able to afford their wages. However, both players accepted substantial pay cuts in hopes of seizing the opportunity at an ambitious club during their prime career years to make a comeback. It is reported that Chelsea’s loan plus buyout clause for Sancho will be triggered if Chelsea finishes in the top 14 of the Premier League. The buyout fee for Sancho is between £20 million and £25 million, depending on his performance. Previously, Sancho’s weekly salary at Manchester United was around £250,000.
