[Saba Sports News] According to South Korean media reports, in addition to being prosecuted by the prosecution, Son Heung-min’s father, Son Heung-jung, has been required to complete a child abuse prevention education program. Recently, the Chuncheon District Prosecutor’s Office announced that it had filed charges against Son Heung-jung and two other coaches for child abuse; however, the prosecution did not disclose the specific amount of fines. In June of this year, Coach Son Heung-jung and two coaches from the “SON Football Academy” were accused of insulting players and hitting them on the buttocks with corner flags during training in Okinawa in March when the players lost matches or were unable to train. In response, Son Heung-jung stated: “I swear that the words and actions of the academy coaches were all based on love for the children. However, we did not keep up with the changes of the times; I will reflect on this.” Additionally, it is reported that Son Heung-jung and others recently paid 6 million won to the court—2 million won for each victim—but the victims have not yet received it. One wonders how Son Heung-min feels about this situation now?
