[Saba Sports News] The third round of the Premier League saw a number of tough matches, with Arsenal facing Brighton at home and ending up with a 1-1 draw. Arsenal took the lead in the 38th minute after Bukayo Saka set up Kai Havertz’s solo shot. However, Arsenal had to play with 10 men in the second half after Declan Rice was sent off for a second yellow card for unnecessary interference. Brighton stepped up their game and equalised through Joao Pedro’s goal. Although Arsenal created a couple of good chances in the final stages of the game, both Hafts and Saca failed to convert their chances and the two sides settled the score.

Everton, on the other hand, suffered a 3-2 comeback at home to Bournemouth. Everton opened the scoring in the 50th minute through Michael Keane before Dominic Calvert-Lewin extended the lead. Leading 2-0, the game looked assured, but Bournemouth staged a remarkable comeback after 87 minutes. Antoine Semenyo cut the gap for Bournemouth before Lewis Cook and Luis Sinisterra each scored in stoppage time to complete the shutout. Everton lost 2-3 and it was an unbelievable end to the game.
