[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, the prospect of Chelsea relocating its home ground to Earl’s Court has been denied by the company responsible for developing that site. It is understood that Chelsea’s Chief Operating Officer Jason Gannon has assured the club’s stadium owners’ association that no decisions have been made regarding the future of Stamford Bridge. Reports indicate that Gannon had previously discussed the possibility of relocating the club to Earl’s Court, which is managed by Earl’s Court Development Company (ECDC). Two years ago, Chelsea held talks with the developer Delancey regarding this site. It is reported that Gannon also discussed this matter with Transport for London, but ECDC issued a statement denying this possibility. ECDC’s statement said: “There are no plans for Chelsea FC to relocate to Earl’s Court in our plans. We already have a detailed design scheme that will soon be registered with two local governments. This scheme prioritizes providing thousands of homes and jobs, cultural and open spaces, and has taken four years of engagement to develop. Development work will start in 2026, with the first residents moving in by 2030. This is, and will continue to be, our top priority.”
