[Saba Sports News] Stephon Marbury recently shared his thoughts on Chris Paul’s career, calling him “the luckiest point guard ever” during an interview with Scoop B Robinson.
Marbury marveled at Paul’s ability to consistently find himself in favorable situations, saying, “He gets GREAT opportunities every two to three years! He’s somewhere now doing hand exercises and ankle exercises!”
Paul’s career has seen ups and downs, including his first NBA Finals appearance with the Phoenix Suns in 2021, followed by early playoff exits despite strong regular seasons.
After being traded to the Golden State Warriors, Paul faced more challenges, but luck struck again as he recently signed with the San Antonio Spurs, joining forces with rising star Victor Wembanyama.
As Paul nears the end of his career, Marbury’s comments about his knack for landing in good situations may once again ring true.
