[Saba Sports News] Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, is making strides in basketball as well.
According to Akeem Glaspie of the Indy Star, McCaffery is expected to join Butler University’s men’s basketball team as an assistant coach, filling the spot left by former NBA player Greg Oden.
McCaffery, son of Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery, played both baseball and basketball at Iowa, where he met WNBA star Clark.
The couple has been together since 2023. McCaffery’s potential job at Butler is a great fit, especially with Clark now playing for the Indiana Fever. He previously served as an entry-level assistant for the Indiana Pacers.
