[Saba Sports News] Recently, the CEO of the Sports Academy discussed the future development trends of badminton in Malaysia during a media interview. He revealed a significant piece of news: Malaysia is set to build a high-performance badminton center. It is reported that the new badminton center will feature multiple high-performance facilities, providing athletes with excellent training conditions, which will help them improve their daily training and efficiency. However, I believe that merely upgrading facilities is not enough. To achieve the revival of Malaysian badminton, it is essential to work on various aspects such as athletes’ training attitudes, the level of coaching teams, and event organization, including adjusting coaching structures and strengthening youth team development. Only by doing so can Malaysian badminton achieves better results in future international competitions and return to the top ranks of the world badminton scene.
