Both teams are coming off grueling schedules. On Friday, Kinibulla beat former group leader Rain or Shine 124-102, while SAN Miguel won 139-127 over the Phoenix, also in the Big dome.
Despite the limited preparation time, both teams are expected to display a high level of competition in this crucial game as they are both eager to push for direct qualification for the playoffs. At 7:30 p.m., Kinibra and SAN Miguel will meet again for the advantage of qualifying.
For now, both Kinibra and SAN Miguel have tied Rain or Flash’s 5-2 record with Friday’s wins. However, the Kinibra team, led by Justin Brownlee, is in hot form, unbeaten and riding high since their 67-73 loss to Rain or Flash in South Cottonton City, Irogoos.
