[Saba Sports News] The Golden State Warriors have been eager to improve their Stephen Curry-led roster this offseason.
However, they missed out on big targets like Lauri Markkanen and Paul George after refusing to part with key young players, especially Brandin Podziemski.
Now, with 14 players already under contract, the Warriors are focusing on smaller upgrades. They are reportedly considering signing free-agent forward Nassir Little, according to Keith Smith of Spotrac.
Little has also drawn interest from the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, and Sacramento Kings, all of whom have held workouts with the 24-year-old.
Little, a former first-round pick in 2019, showed promise during the 2021-22 season with the Portland Trail Blazers but has struggled to maintain that momentum. After being traded to the Phoenix Suns, he was waived to clear a roster spot.
Teams, including the Warriors, hope to unlock his potential as a late free-agent addition.
