[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson has donated several truckloads of food to his hometown in Senegal. The supplies purchased by Jackson include rice, onions, potatoes, and sugar, as well as pens and books for local children. In fact, this is not Jackson’s first time donating supplies to his hometown; during his time at Villarreal, he would ask teammates for old boots and jerseys and then pay out of his own pocket to send them back home for local children to promote sports development in the area. Jackson was born in Gambia in 2001; his father is Gambian and his mother is Senegalese. In 2017, Jackson’s family moved to Ziguinchor in Senegal. Chelsea insiders revealed to the media: “Jackson has deep feelings for his hometown and hopes to give back to the people there as much as possible.” It must be said that Jackson’s actions are truly heartwarming.
