It is reported that his wife, Ribka Sugiarto, was also a professional badminton player but left the Indonesian national team to prepare for the wedding. Photos released by the media show that Ardianto and his wife chose traditional Indonesian attire, especially the bride’s makeup resembling the green snake from Chinese mythology, creating a loving scene that prompted fans to leave messages and send blessings. Some fans joked that every Olympic Games leads to a wedding boom. According to reports, 28-year-old Ardianto partnered with Fajar ALFIAN in men’s doubles badminton, affectionately known as the “Double A” duo by fans. Despite standing out in Indonesia’s talent-rich men’s doubles team, Ardianto’s strength is undeniable; however, due to their lackluster performance in world competitions, they have been dubbed “the weakest Indonesian men’s doubles team in history” by the media. In the 2021 Thomas Cup team competition, Ardianto helped the Indonesian team win the championship, which remains his only world championship title to date.
