[Saba Sports News] Recently, German media disclosed the fine system within Borussia Dortmund. Reports indicate that if players are late for training, medical appointments, meetings, etc., they will be fined €100; if they are late on match days, they will be fined €3,000. Those who completely miss club activities will face further penalties with fines of €5,000; additionally, failing to attend weigh-ins incurs a €250 fine. Dortmund has consistently emphasized players’ focus and participation in team activities, as evidenced by their penalties for improper use of mobile phones. If players use their phones at inappropriate times—such as at the dining table or during therapy—they will be fined €100. Furthermore, players are expected to actively interact with fans; failing to sign autograph cards by the agreed deadline will result in a hefty €2,000 fine, while players who do not sign jerseys will be fined €500. Additionally, if players leave training facilities messy or fail to clean up after themselves, they will also be fined €100. Lastly, wearing incorrect attire while performing official duties will result in a €250 fine.
