[Saba Sports News] At just 32, former NBA All-Star Victor Oladipo is embarking on a new chapter.
The ex-guard made his debut as an ESPN analyst on Wednesday, appearing on “NBA Today.” Drafted No. 2 overall in 2013, Oladipo became a two-time All-Star, an All-NBA and All-Defensive selection, and the NBA’s Most Improved Player with the Indiana Pacers.
He also played for the Magic, Thunder, Rockets, and Heat over a 10-year career.
Oladipo’s prime was cut short by injuries, including a ruptured quad tendon in 2019, limiting his games in recent seasons.
After a torn patellar tendon kept him out for 2023-24, Oladipo, now a free agent, might be considering retirement.
His new role with ESPN could signal the start of a post-playing career, though it doesn’t rule out an NBA return.
