[Saba Sports News] Stephen Holt has now fully adapted to his new environment in Barangay Ginebra, and this adaptation has come at a critical time.

“I feel my role at Ginebra is well set,” Holt said. He was named PBA Journalists’ Association Pilipinas Live Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 9-13.
Holt received unanimous recognition from reporters for his performance that helped the Gin Kings of Ginebra take a 2-1 lead over the San Miguel Beermen in the Governor’s Cup semifinal series.
The 32-year-old defenseman beat out teammate Japeth Aguilar and TNT’s Rey Nambatac, who likewise helped his team to a 2-1 lead over Rain or Shine in the other group semi-final to claim the honour of the week.
Holt averaged 18.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and five assists during the week as Ginebra won Games 1 and 3.
