The eight-time MVP is firmly on top of the personal rankings with a 44.8 stat score, and has played in 21 games with stellar postseason numbers: 21.0 points per game, a league-best 16.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.0 blocks.
Fahardo, who has won 10 BPC awards in the past, remains the official candidate for the conference’s top individual honour despite his team failing to reach the final, losing 4-2 in the semi-final series against Barangay Ginebra.
Also vying for the award are Arvin Tolentino (Northport), Robert Bolick (NLEX), SAN Miguel teammate CJ Perez, And Japeth Aguilar and Scottie Thompson of Nebraska.
Although North Port failed to qualify for the playoffs, Tolentino remained in second place with a statistical score of 37.5. He leads the league in scoring, averaging 23.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists.
