[Saba Sports News] During last weekend’s F1 Mexican Grand Prix, Max Verstappen clashed with Lando Norris on track, forcing Norris off the track twice while gaining an advantage by returning before him. The officials imposed two 10-second penalties on Verstappen, who ultimately finished sixth. After the race, Verstappen expressed significant concerns about his car’s performance in a media interview, stating: “Finishing sixth is already a good result; I couldn’t even compete with the Mercedes cars ahead. The car lacks grip; I often skid, and the brakes don’t feel good.” Following Verstappen’s penalties at the Mexican Grand Prix, there was a noticeable change in the driver standings. Previously, Verstappen led Norris by 57 points in the standings, but after the Mexican race, Norris narrowed the gap to 47 points. This means that with four races remaining this season, the battle for the drivers’ championship has become even more intense.
