[Saba Sports News] McLaren driver Lando Norris and Red Bull driver Max Verstappen are good friends and rivals for this season’s drivers’ championship. As the season nears its end, the points gap between Norris and Verstappen is only 47 points, creating an increasingly tense atmosphere. In response, Norris attempted to play mind games, stating that Verstappen’s current racing is not “fair” and pointed out that his driving style is too aggressive. In an interview, Norris stated that regardless of whether Verstappen changes his driving style, he will maintain a clean driving approach in the last four races of the season because his father taught him from a young age that as a professional racer, one must always compete fairly and cannot take shortcuts. Norris further explained his viewpoint, acknowledging that he might lose races due to his overly honest driving style but believes it is essential to find a better balance. When racing against top drivers, one must better understand the balance between offense, defense, risk management, aggression, and all these factors.
