[Saba Sports Newsft] Napoli director Maurizio Manna will travel to Milan today to meet with the agent of the team’s main player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, according to the Central Morning newspaper. Kvaratskhlia’s future is in doubt as his agent has a hefty offer from Paris Saint-Germain.

Sources say Napoli have been trying to promote Kvaraczhelia’s contract extension negotiations, but the player’s demand of 8 million euros a year has not been met, which has become the main obstacle to an agreement. Kvarazhlia is open to staying, but only if Napoli can meet his salary demands.
Napoli executives are still keen to keep the talented player, so Manna will hold another meeting with Kvaraczhelia’s agent after the AC Milan game. Paris Saint-Germain’s hefty offer also complicates the negotiations, making it likely that Kvaratschlia will consider a move to another top European club.
Interest from other foreign clubs remains strong and if Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis makes a competitive offer, it may be possible to retain the key player, who is otherwise likely to try to leave Serie A.
