The report states that as part of Giovani Lo Celso’s transfer to Real Betis, Tottenham has the right to sign Cardoso at a fixed price of €25 million before the end of June next year. If Tottenham does not activate this clause, they will still have matching rights and a share of the transfer if Real Betis sells Cardoso in the future. So far, 23-year-old Cardoso has made 31 appearances for Real Betis, contributing 1 goal and 2 assists. According to ESPN data, in just half a season, Cardoso’s tackle success rate of 52.3% ranks sixth in La Liga, with elite levels in duels (62.7%) and aerial duels (62.7%).
