[Saba Sports News] The Milwaukee Bucks might be rekindling ties with a familiar face—and former foe.
Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints reported that the Bucks are eyeing a trade for veteran forward Torrey Craig of the Chicago Bulls ahead of the Feb. 6 deadline.
While Milwaukee has made players like MarJon Beauchamp and Pat Connaughton available, rival teams are more interested in discussing Bobby Portis, complicating trade talks.
Craig, 33, has seen limited action with the Bulls this season and is set to become a free agent this summer. He previously played for Milwaukee during the 2020-21 season but turned adversary when he joined the Phoenix Suns, logging significant minutes against the Bucks in the 2021 NBA Finals.
Now, with Milwaukee sitting at 6-9 and grappling with injuries to key forwards, Craig’s defensive versatility and 39.2% three-point shooting from last season could fill a critical need. The Bucks appear ready to transform their former playoff opponent into a key asset once again.
