[Saba Sports News] Hong Kong Eastern has grabbed an early solo lead in the group stage of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Committee Cup.

Cameron Clark came on full fire after coming on as a substitute in the final four minutes to give Hong Kong its second straight win over Converge FiberXers, 117-106. The match took place on Friday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Clark returned from the break and scored to help the East team build from a 101-98 lead and continue their good form since a 102-87 rout of the Phoenix.
Converge finished 1-1 despite 43 points from Cheick Diallo.
Clark had a strong finish with 39 points, 15 rebounds and two blocked shots, while Hayden Blankley finished with 21 points, Jordan Heading added 13 and Schonny Winston also added 12.
