Magnolia are looking to be more refined than they were in last Thursday’s 118-100 win over Blackwater, a win that marked the start of their campaign in the mid-term.
Converge, meanwhile, is hoping to bounce back from a 117-106 loss to visiting Eastern last Friday with a second win to pull its record back to 1-1.
On the eve of the game, Magnolia head coach Chito Victolero said the loss had made Converge more threatening than ever. “They are a dangerous team because they are young,” he said.
“They played very hard last night. You could say they play like a run-and-bust. So we need to be more precise in our defensive execution in the next game, added Victorero.
