[Saba Sports News] This season in F1, Red Bull Racing’s Sergio Perez has delivered a disappointing performance, currently sitting with 152 points, far behind his teammate’s 403 points. Red Bull is very likely to miss out on defending their Constructors’ Championship title this season, largely due to Perez’s lackluster performance. There have even been rumors about replacing Perez with Lawson from the junior Red Bull team after this season. Recently, Max Verstappen’s father discussed this issue in a media interview, stating that it might be better for Perez to stay. He said, “Actually, it’s not hard for Perez to return to his peak form; Red Bull just needs to produce a more balanced car. If the balance of the Red Bull car is sufficient for everyone to accept, then I believe he will be back in front.” The author believes that Verstappen prefers his current teammate Perez, which is a consensus in the paddock, as the mild-mannered Mexican driver is always willing to provide full support when Verstappen needs it, without complaints.
