It was reported that the young fan allegedly threw the paper cups and balls toward friends sitting in front of him, but these objects ended up crossing the advertising barrier and landing at the edge of the field, without hitting anyone or falling onto the playing area. Nevertheless, the club still sanctioned this behavior, and this fact has been documented in the club’s report. Surveillance footage was used to confirm the identity of the minor, who, along with their accompanying person, has been banned from entering the stadium for several months. The club met with the parents and notified them of this decision in writing. The young fan and their parents did not dispute this decision. The club pointed out that stadium and match rules apply to everyone, including adults and children, and that the punishment should cover the entire season. The club hopes to defend itself before the Ligue 1 disciplinary committee, which has fined the club for several violations, including the fine related to minors.
