[Saba Sports News] The 2024 World Badminton Tour Finals will take place from December 11 to 15 at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium in Zhejiang, China. Recently, the organizing committee announced the mascot and promotional slogan for this event. The mascot is named “Hang Xiao Yu,” and its overall design is consistent with the logo of the World Tour Finals, featuring three colorful little sprites representing the “Three Ponds Reflecting the Moon.” Among them, the badminton-shaped sprite “Xiao Yu” symbolizes dreams, with the Finals logo printed on its feather, signifying that the Finals is a dream event for all badminton players; the orange sprite “Xiao Xiao” represents vitality, symbolizing Hangzhou’s determination to become a “city of events” in the post-Asian Games era; and the blue sprite “Xiao Hang” represents intelligence, symbolizing the innovative power of smart technology in sports events. The slogan “Feathers in Bloom, Shining Hangzhou” paired with the cute “Hang Xiao Yu” is expected to become a unique highlight of the Finals.
