[Saba Sports News] Argentinian driver Franco Colapinto recently discussed his current situation in a media interview, expressing his anxiety over the lack of invitations from teams. Colapinto raced a few times for the Williams team this season and had some standout performances. Unfortunately, following a series of mistakes in the Brazilian and Las Vegas Grands Prix that led to crashes, he quickly lost favor with teams, and as of now, has not received any invitations. Colapinto stated, “I think the Las Vegas qualifying was a disaster, while Brazil was just my first time racing in wet conditions; the crash there didn’t feel catastrophic. But Las Vegas was a disaster—it’s a bigger mistake than Brazil, and it has been haunting me.” It is believed that Colapinto can still continue as a reserve driver for other teams, and we hope to see him back in F1 in the future.
