[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Marcus Rashford has gone out several times on the nights before matches since Ruben Amorim took over. Amorim’s concerns about Rashford’s social life have contributed to the player’s exclusion from the squad. It is reported that Amorim made this decision based on what he personally observed after careful consideration. On the matter of Rashford, Amorim’s stance aligns with that of the Manchester United hierarchy. Notably, Rashford was revealed to have gone to nightclubs for two consecutive nights before an FA Cup match last January, claiming illness and missing training, which led to his exclusion from the FA Cup squad. At the time, Erik ten Hag stated that the player’s absence was an internal issue. Recently, Amorim confirmed at a pre-match press conference that Rashford would miss the upcoming match against Liverpool due to illness, seemingly repeating a scenario from his time under Ten Hag. Rashford had previously missed four consecutive matchday squads for Manchester United but returned to the lineup against Newcastle without getting any playing time. So far this season, Rashford has played 24 matches for Manchester United, contributing 7 goals and 3 assists.
