[Saba Sports News] The Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons ended Thursday’s game with more than just a 111-100 Pacers win—it also featured a heated postgame dust-up.
As Indiana’s Pascal Siakam dribbled out the clock, a verbal exchange began with Detroit’s Cade Cunningham. The situation escalated as players from both teams joined in, even after the final buzzer sounded.
Isaiah Stewart, who logged 21 minutes but didn’t finish the game, took it upon himself to stir the pot.
Coming off the bench, Stewart confronted Pacers center Myles Turner, pointing and shouting before dropping a peculiar jab, “You play with Legos.” The comment referenced Turner’s well-known love of Lego building, particularly Star Wars sets.
Turner, however, had the last laugh with a game-high 28 points, helping the Pacers secure the win despite missing a key starter due to suspension. Meanwhile, Stewart managed just two points and hasn’t scored in double figures since before Thanksgiving.
Known for his fiery temperament, Stewart has a history of on-court altercations, including an infamous incident with LeBron James and a pregame punch last year that resulted in his arrest.
While Stewart’s antics have moved from fists to verbal jabs, his confrontational nature remains a staple of his game—though this time, the roasting may have backfired.
