[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Manchester United will further cut the salaries of the club’s ambassadors, with legendary player Bryan Robson, Andy Cole, and Denis Irwin facing significant salary reductions. These three are Manchester United’s ambassadors, and under the agreement, the club also pays them a consultancy fee. However, Manchester United has now informed them that their salaries will be reduced starting next season. The club is currently conducting a large-scale review of its expenditures, and many “legends” who work on match days will be affected. The 59-year-old Gary Pallister, who played for Manchester United for nine years, can earn between £500-£1000 on each match day. Former midfielder Robson played for Manchester United from 1981 to 1994, making 345 appearances and scoring 74 goals. Irwin and Cole were also key figures during the turn of the century for Manchester United, with Irwin making 368 appearances and Cole 275 appearances. After James Ratcliffe and INEOS took over Manchester United, the club launched a review aimed at significantly reducing unnecessary expenses. Last year, Manchester United terminated the global ambassador contract of legendary manager Alex Ferguson, cutting his annual salary of £2 million, which caused considerable controversy at the time.
