[Saba Sports News] According to recent reports from English media, Yoane Wissa, the forward for Premier League club Brentford, was previously attacked by a woman who attempted to kidnap his daughter in a terrifying incident. Fortunately, Wissa reacted quickly, preventing his daughter from being taken. The woman has since been detained by the police and is facing charges of attempted murder, child kidnapping, and attempted kidnapping. If convicted, she could face 30 years in prison. The motive behind the incident remains unclear, but other media reports suggest the woman may have mental health issues, as she allegedly tried to kidnap another woman’s child in a similar manner on the same day in July 2021, although that child was unharmed. Following the incident, Wissa posted a photo on social media showing visible scars on his face, expressing that he was lucky to have not sustained serious injuries.
