[Saba Sports News] British driver Lewis Hamilton was participating in a three-day TPC test with the Ferrari team at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona. On the second day of testing, Hamilton was involved in a crash. Fortunately, he was not injured in the incident. The crash reportedly occurred around 11 AM local time while Hamilton was driving a modified version of the Ferrari SF-23 during the third timed session. The crash caused damage to the car’s suspension system and aerodynamic components. After the accident, Hamilton climbed out of the car and was taken back to the pit area, where the Ferrari team will analyze telemetry data to investigate the cause of the crash. The incident also prevented Leclerc from participating in the afternoon testing session on the second day. Following the accident, the Ferrari team promptly managed the situation by considering Hamilton’s crash as a normal part of the testing process, as he continues to adapt to the new car.
